"Old Smoke House" by Gordon van VlietI painted the other day with Josi Etter behind Shoen Place at the Pittsford Farms Dairy, 44 North Main Street, Pittsford, New York. This is perhaps the first warm week of the year and all the greens are coming in on the trees and fields.
The proprietor was generous enough to let us paint for a few hours.

Often times I have taken time to enjoy that very scene and wax nostaljic with thoughts of my young love their under the coton woods . I swear I could hear the rustle of the spring breeze through their branches. Thank you for the gift.
