Todays' Painting, "Angelina"
Todays' painting is "Angelina" which is painted oil on canvas 16"W x 20"H. This model was fun and easy to paint. Great pose and personality for this young lady.
This is a mural that my friend recently completed. Its about 4'H x 20"W and depicts the epic struggle between "good and evil". I really admire the the ilumination on the sky near the volcano and flying dragons and also the shield showing through the fire.
We are considering doing some murals together in the future. Have a job to do, let me know.

Nice job Gordon! Your time away seems to have pushed your painting to a new level. Keep up the good work, Angelina is my favorite one so far. Cheers
I think this is the best figure I have seen of yours, very nice pose and I like the angles of the body, arm and leg relationships.
you need to put up a bigger image of the mural I can barely see it
I like your treatment of the space behind the figure. Most satisfying!
This is very good.
I like this painting! Her expression is fun, and I can imagine it was a fun one to paint. Love the texture brush work around the figure too. Your blog is great :)
